5 - Keyboard Interactions

Camera movements

You can interact with the 3D viewer with a keyboard. You will be able to:

• Zoom in / out:
  • First, press the Cmd (command) or the Ctrl (control) key;
  • Then, press the + key to zoom in, or the - key to zoom out.
• Rotate the camera around the product:
  • First, press the Cmd (command), the Ctrl (control) key, or the Shift key;
  • Then, press any of the up, down, left or right arrow key.

Environment map switch

It is possible to switch between the various environment maps 🔗 available in the application with the following shortcut:

• First, press the Cmd (command) or the Ctrl (control) key;
• Then, press the m key.

Product deletion

When a module is selected on a modular product, you can use the Del (delete) key to delete it.

Undo / Redo of configuration changes

Any action taken to modify the current configuration can be undone or redone with the corresponding commands 🔗.

These commands are also available with the following shortcuts:

• Undo:
  • First, press the Cmd (command) or the Ctrl (control) key;
  • Then, press the z key.
• Redo:
  • First, press the Cmd (command) or the Ctrl (control) key;
  • Then, press the y key.
