2.5 - Compositions

Compositions are a set of modules in a specific composition (colors, options...). They can be stored as a string, then re-opened. The composition can be modified after re-opening it in the product configurator.

Creation

To create a composition, you have to use the Product Configurator. The introduction page provides a specific mode called "Content Creator mode".

Links to the Introduction page πŸ”—

  • Choose your Legal and Application Distribution.
  • Check the "With UI" and the "Content Creator mode" checkboxes.
  • As a "base product", set the ID of your Modular Context product. πŸ”—
  • Launch the configurator.

Then you can prepare the exact composition you want (add modules, choose colors, options...). Once you are done:

  • Click on the "Save" icon on the left. It will download a "BMA" file. This is your composition.
  • [Optional] Click on the "Screenshot" button. The screenshot will be 512px x 512px, ready for 3DCloud thumbnail.
  • Create a new product on 3DCloud, using the BMA as any other BMA file.
